Safety we don’t compromise on

Health and safety is a primary focus at Shade. Here is what that means on your job.

Qualified scaffolders

We employ fully qualified staff with CITB and CISRS certification, on commercial and residential projects alike.

Planned before we start

Before any project begins, we issue a risk assessment and method statement written for that job, and the team is briefed on safety at project meetings.

PPE on site

Our team wears the personal protective equipment the job requires. We may ask you and your trades to do the same when you are on the scaffold.

Working to the rules

We meet the Construction Industry Regulations and our legal duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and work to the NASC’s TG20 and SG4 guidance. ⟨confirm the editions: TG20:21 and SG4:22 are current; your site quotes TG20:13 and SG4:10⟩

Accreditations

Checked by others

Independent schemes that main contractors and clients use to check a contractor’s health and safety.

⟨confirm with Ervin: both accreditations are current (they renew every year), plus your insurance cover. A scan of the certificates would let us link to them.⟩
