The short version
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
- We only hold the details you choose to send us through the quote form, by email or by phone.
- We use them to reply about your job and to quote for it. We do not sell them or add you to a mailing list.
- Messages sent through the form are deleted after 12 months.
Who we are
Shade Scaffolding Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10428601), with its registered office at 4a Central Road, Worcester Park KT4 8HZ. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us about anything in this notice at info@shadescaffolding.com or on 020 8337 7733.
What we collect, and why
When you use the quote form
Your name, phone number, what you need, and what you tell us about the job. Optionally your email address and where the building is. We use this to reply and to prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us for a quote. If you go ahead, the basis becomes contract.
To stop spam
When a form is sent we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of the sender’s internet address, which cannot be turned back into the address. It lets us limit how many messages one connection can send in an hour.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or pass on your details. Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form messages, and an email service sends us a copy of each one. ⟨confirm at launch: the email provider and the inbox the form sends to⟩
How long we keep it
- Form messages: deleted automatically 12 months after they are sent.
- Quotes and job records: kept as long as tax and contract law requires.
